About Us

The RoadEye vehicle tracking system was originally developed by Aegis Engineering in 2000 and was launched in 2002.  Although there were other systems already on the market, from the start Aegis were determined to develop a user-friendly system but which incorporated the latest cutting-edge technology to allow customers to maximise the benefits from their investment.

Since then, the product has been enthusiastically taken up by over 200 customers, from many sectors, including councils, hauliers and service suppliers.  As a collaboration between the original partners, the system has been continually evaluated and developed to keep up with the latest technology.

In late 2005, V-Track Ltd was granted an exclusive licence to develop and market the product.  In the process, they also took over the existing customer contracts to ensure continuity of service and customer support.  Some of the key staff at V-Track had already been involved in the marketing of the RoadEye product from day one, so their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for the product was already well established. 

The key partners continue to play a vital role in delivering the RoadEye product; Aegis Engineering; Geobuild Projects Ltd, who design the software; monX, the hardware manufacturers; Your Communications Ltd, suppliers of the private network and Car Technics, whose VSIB accredited installers fit the units for us.

The key directors of V-Track and its partners have a combined experience in the vehicle tracking sector of over 100 years!  So you can be totally confident that V-Track and its partners can help you get the best out of the technology.  Even more significantly, steps have been taken to ensure continuity of service for RoadEye customers, no matter what changes might occur in structural organisation, and, with our strong partnership, RoadEye will be here today, here tomorrow!
